Day two of Round 3...

Dom has been at Cedars for a day now – and he has been doing very well. Sleep has been difficult seeing he has some annoying hiccups but besides that, things are status quo. Earlier today his nurse, Frankie, came in and challenged him to an arm wrestling contest. Dom took Frankie down…twice. This got his competitive juices going & cured his hiccups…temporarily.

Scoob patiently sat with Dom during his spinal MRI & Dom has been sleeping ever since. In the meantime Scoob’s mom drove down, Smith smiley face cookies in tow, and Herbie dropped in. They were here to received the first bit of GOOD news – the first portion of his MRI has come back with no signs of tumors. This is in the lumbar (lower) portion of his back. We still have two areas to go, but this is a little good news we all wanted to hear. When we get the results of the last 2 sections of the MRI, I will let you know. Time line unknown.

Dom is getting his vitals checked & a spinal tap (Lumbar Puncture) now…it’s a Monday!

Thanks, for your support.

**please forward this blog to anyone, even if you think they already get it. I want to make sure the distribution complete**

Dom, just because I'm trapped behind the orange curtain doesn't mean I'm not there in spirit. I love you and miss you and am thinking of you every second. I know you are going to handle this stay with your usual style and inappropriate advances on the nurse. I'm eating chicken tacos with no lettuce for you as we speak and can't wait to buy you a beer when you are out!!! Hang in there, Miss you! Love you!
